A new star is rising

We are proud to announce that Gnowsis.com won the 3rd place at the international Innovaton Seed Camp at the 3rd European Semantic Technology conference 2009 (ESTC). Within 16 top teams from all around Europe convinced the team of Gnowsis.com the present venture investors and set an important milestone in the success story of the young company. The ESTC annually brings together the best experts, developers and ingenious in the field of semantic technology and took place on 2nd and 3rd December 2009 in Vienna, Austria.

Who we are

Gnowsis.com, a new Viennese start-up, is developing products for personal information management. We provide solutions for an efficient administration of the daily information flow, including e- mails, documents and web-pages by using processes based on web 2.0. Initialized by the problem of founder Leo Sauermann “I simply couldn´t remember things”, we are developing a semantic personal information management system to link information amongst different applications and make them easier to re-find. So next time when looking for important documents, projects, e-mail and appointments related to your business contact, you have everything immediately at hand! Already at this stage offers our Gnowsis.com expert team a professional consulting in the area of personal information management for individuals as well as corporations. This is done in cooperation with our partners from the NEPOMUK European integrated Project.

Gnowsis.com is a spin-off company of the German research center for artificial intelligence DFKI GmbH in Kaiserslautern, Germany. Gnowsis.com is supported and supervised by the incubator INiTS.at. Founded in 2009 in Vienna, we help people remember.
