Gnowsis Naming Competition - it's time for feedback

Dear folks of Gnowsis,

first, a BIG "thank you" for your many submissions in the Gnowsis Naming Competition!

All of you who didn't participate yet - go and try your luck!

It's a huge and important step for us to find a new product name; especially one that people can remember and associate with us. After one week you submitted more than 50 ideas (!) and it is time for some feedback. Have a look at the following tips and recommendations:    

• Combine existing words - they are easy to remember and can describe the product.
• Give it meaning - our product helps you save time and remember things - the name can show how your life would change by this.
• Avoid acronyms - they can communicate a complex topic, but are hard to memorize (or do you know what RSMINC stands for)?  
• Hidden star? Have a look at all the submissions, look on those gems on the last page and push your favorite to the front page by voting for it.
• Avoid registered trademarks and swearwords - we filter them out.

In our review we removed 2 inappropriate submissions. We are sorry, but it has been necessary and the authors were contacted by us and told why.

Everything is still possible!
So go ahead, push your creativity to the limits.  Share your ideas on Facebook and Twitter. Tell your friends to submit names themselves, so you can vote for theirs.

Money and fame are waiting for you! But more than that, the feeling you get when using a product every day that you helped to name.
